Hi Jang,
Sorry, but I don't think we currently carry anything small enough to suit your needs at the current time.
Your Toshiba® DVD Recorder/VCR Combo Player D-VR7 with HDMI Output shows it has a built-in Dolby digital decoder. Is this the VCR I need to buy so I can continue to tape my shows now that every thing is changing to the new HD Digital Signal from my roof antenna.

Hello,
Our buyers have indicated that the Dolby Digital decoder is used to decode Dolby Digital audio for DVD playback on the DVR7 unit. It is not used for the VCR portion of the unit as the VHS cassette tape format/media does not have the capability to store digital audio information such as Dolby Digital or DTS.
Furthermore, to decode/tune the new HD Digital Signal over the air (HD OTA) – you will require an ATSC (digital) tuner, which is not embedded in the DVR7 unit. Thus, the DVR7 Recorder, itself cannot record from a High Definition signal.
Thanks for shopping Sears.

Hello,
Yes, this can be accomplished by connecting the composite (red, white yellow) A/V cables from your MiniDV Camcorder to your DVR-7 unit. You will have to control the playback action by the camcorder as you record, but the DVR7 will record from it to DVD recordable or VHS cassette tape like any other standard definition video source.
Thanks for shopping Sears.
