Replacing belts in maintenance section page 17 fig 21....the picture is very faded..is there anyway of getting a darker readable image...looking for manuals online but apparently they are no longer available

Actually, after a search on Youtube, I found a video which goes thru the whole process of changing both belts...diagram not required. Just search for Craftsman snowblower change belts on youtube

I pulled this from another Q&A area, and it was very helpful!
.... approximate conversions (@ 3600 RPM)...
179 cc = 5 hp
205 cc = 8 to 9 Gross Torque = 5.5 to 6 hp
250 cc = 11 to 11.5 Gross Torque = 7 to 8 hp
305 cc = 13.5 to 14.5 Gross Torque = 9 to 10 hp
342 cc = 15.5 to 16.5 Gross Torque = 11 to 12 hp

We just bought this model this am. It was on backorder and they asked if we wanted it shipped. We are in Mississauga - It was going to cost $60.00 provided someone was home. I expect it would cost more for evening or weekend delivery... we did not ask. hope this helps

TM/MC and MD are simply trademark designations for English and French. They don't represent anything other than that.

The wheels on this snowthrower are connected through one driveshaft. It is not steerable, where the wheels would be capable of rotating individually.

What is the main difference between the Wide Dual Stage Gas Snowblower & the 24" Mid-Frame 2-stage Snowblower? I need something easy to handle...I notice the mid-frame one has manual chute rotation...does the wide one have that as well???
